Topline (toplinesim.com) is a browser-based horse simulation game set in the world of Belverra. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "we", "us", and "our" refers to the operators of Topline. You can reach us at admin@toplinesim.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you register and use Topline:

• Account data: username, email address, password (stored as a hashed value — never in plain text), and registration date.
• Profile data: display preferences, stable name, region selection, and any optional profile content you choose to add.
• Gameplay data: horses, stables, show entries, results, in-game currency balances (Rosettes and Laurels), breeding records, and all other game actions you take.
• Payment data: if you purchase a subscription, billing is handled by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status — we never store your full card number or CVV.
• Technical data: IP address (logged at login for security), browser type, and server access logs maintained by our hosting provider (Hostinger).
• Forum data: posts, private messages, and activity on the Topline forum (forum.toplinesim.com), which runs on phpBB.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

• Operate and maintain your game account and the Topline service.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing through Stripe.
• Communicate with you about your account, game updates, and support requests.
• Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse of the service.
• Improve gameplay systems and resolve bugs.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

We share your data only in these limited circumstances:

• Stripe: payment data is processed by Stripe, Inc. under their own Privacy Policy.
• Hostinger: our hosting provider processes server logs and stores database backups as part of infrastructure operations.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
• Account transfer: in the unlikely event Topline is sold or transferred, user data would be part of that transfer, and you would be notified.

5. Cookies & Sessions

Topline uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. This is a strictly necessary cookie — without it the site cannot function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

The forum (phpBB) sets its own session cookies for forum authentication, which are separate from the main game session.

6. Payments

Subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe. When you subscribe, your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored on Topline's servers. We retain only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account tier.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data (email, password hash, and profile details) within 30 days. Gameplay records (horses, show results, breeding history) may be retained in anonymised form to preserve game world continuity.

Server access logs are retained by Hostinger per their standard policies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law (including GDPR for EEA residents and UK GDPR for UK residents) including:

• The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
• The right to correct inaccurate data.
• The right to delete your account and personal data.
• The right to object to or restrict certain processing.
• The right to data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).
